Safe multi-gas meter for combustible gases and vapours O2, H2S and CO, with fast, easy and economical maintenance. It guarantees high safety in explosion hazardous areas by offering Ex-approval for Atex zone 0. Thanks to its functional design, the gas enters from above and from the side even when the device is in the pocket or when a gas inlet is mistakenly covered.
It features highly durable Dräger XXS electrochemical sensors for safe measurements in industry, mining and refineries, plus an innovative, poison-resistant catalytic Ex sensor. It allows tank and well opening measurements or leakage search, thanks to an optional external pump with a hose up to 30 m.
The Dräger X-am 2500 offers great wearing comfort due to its low weight, its ergonomic design and the control panel has two buttons for easy and intuitive operation. In addition, it is immune to electromagnetic radiation and offers resistance to shocks and jolts as it has an integrated rubber protector and impact-resistant sensors, and is protected against water and dust penetration. It can be used with alkaline batteries or with multiple rechargeable NiMH batteries.
