Doubts about disposable gloves

In our catalogue you will find different types of disposable gloves, however, you are not always sure which one is best suited to your sector and your needs.

To help you make your choice, you can ask yourself the following questions: What are my main needs: high resistance, material suitable for sanitary use?

Sanitary disposable gloves

Disposable latex gloves are the most common in the healthcare sector. The reason is that they offer high elasticity, sensitivity and comfort. These are important characteristics for their use in the different tasks that are common in the sector. Another important feature is that this type of protective gloves do not lose their high flexibility under conditions of thermal hypersensitivity.

Resistant disposable gloves

In industries such as the food industry, it is necessary to use quality material that not only protects, but is also highly resistant.

Disposable gloves made of nitrile, a synthetic rubber material made from Acrylonitrile Butadiene copolymer, are a perfect alternative to latex as they are characterised by high puncture resistance and a high level of tactile sensitivity.

A different option for resistant disposable gloves is vinyl gloves, a material made from Polyvinyl Chloride. Most of them offer a high resistance of 4.5 Newtons. This material is very versatile. It does not contain natural latex and is another alternative for those who are allergic to type I latex. It performs very well in alcohols, solvents and some organic acids, which is why this type of gloves offering protection against chemical products are very common in cleaning, hygiene and laboratory tasks.

Disposable food gloves

Our polyethylene gloves are very thin, practical, transparent and of high quality with a very soft touch. These characteristics make them perfect for food handling.

If you have any doubts, please contact the Reysan team, we will advise you in your online purchase so that you can choose the one that best suits your needs.

How to use and throw away the gloves

To avoid possible contamination when removing the gloves, it must be done correctly.

  1. Pinch the inside of the glove and pull it out to remove it completely.
  2. Pick it up with the other hand that is still wearing the glove.
  3. Remove the second glove by inserting the fingers of the free hand and pull the glove out without touching the outside of the glove.
  4. Both will be wrapped around each other and can be placed in a corresponding waste container avoiding touching any surface.

For greater hygiene we recommend washing your hands.
